Tips, tricks and Troubleshooting: Remove white paper atop batteries before using. If light doesn't light up give it a hard tap on a counter-top to activate the bulb. If nothing still, remove the batteries and replace in a new order. That usually does the trick.
If batteries go dead after a few months, again, remove the batteries and replace in a new order. This will extend your battery life for a couple more months..in most cases.
To prevent vibrational breakage when using lights on a motorcycle or car, try wrapping base in duct tape or other heavy tape. Wrap valve stems also to prevent light from coming off. (They don't normally come off when driving but strong tape can be extra protection)
For Scooters/Mopeds: Sometimes the light tube can be a little long and may hit the forks or another part of the vehicle. If this happens, remove tubes and cut in half using a hacksaw. Lights still look good and problem is solved : )
